What is distribution software?
Distribution software runs the day-to-day of a wholesale or distribution business: buying stock from suppliers, keeping it in one or more warehouses, selling it to retailers and businesses on credit, and collecting payment. It replaces the purchase register, stock register and customer khata with one system that updates itself.
AIM does this as accounting and inventory software in one: every purchase, transfer, invoice, payment and return updates stock, customer and supplier balances and the general ledger at the same time.

How stock moves
From supplier to customer in one flow
Every step is a document in AIM. Post it, and stock, balances and the books move with it — nothing is re-typed into a second register.
Purchase order
Raise an order to your supplier for the quantities you need.
Receive into a warehouse
Receive the goods into the right warehouse; the supplier invoice becomes a payable.
Transfer between warehouses
Move stock from one warehouse to another, with the full history kept on both sides.
Order and invoice
Quote, take the order and invoice the customer. Stock leaves the warehouse and the receivable is recorded.
Collect and pay
Apply customer receipts and supplier payments against open invoices, in part or in full.
Returns
Sales and purchase returns put stock back and correct balances and the books in one step.

Distribution software FAQs
What is distribution software?
Distribution software runs a wholesale or distribution business in one system: purchasing from suppliers, stock in one or more warehouses, sales to customers on credit, and payments. AIM combines this with accounting, so stock, balances and the books always agree.
What is the best distribution software in Pakistan?
It depends on how you sell. If you invoice from the office and need stock across warehouses, credit customers, supplier payables, accounting and FBR Digital Invoicing in one place, AIM fits. If your sales depend on an order-booker app with GPS routes and van sales, look for a field-sales tool alongside your accounts.
Can AIM manage stock in several warehouses?
Yes. You can create several warehouses, see live stock and value per location and transfer items between them with full history. Multiple warehouses are part of the Pro plan.
Does AIM track credit customers and receivables?
Yes. Payments are applied against open invoices, each customer shows an outstanding balance, and the accounts receivable summary shows what is owed across all customers.
Does AIM support FBR Digital Invoicing for distributors?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Connect your FBR IRIS account once, test in the sandbox, and AIM submits your sales-tax invoices, debit and credit notes to FBR, with the FBR invoice reference number (IRN) and QR code printed on each invoice.
Does AIM have an order booking app for salesmen?
Not today. AIM runs in the browser on phone, tablet and PC, so staff can create quotations, orders and invoices from anywhere, but it has no dedicated order-booker app with GPS check-ins, route plans or van sales.
Is AIM accounting software for a distribution business too?
Yes. Every posted document creates journal entries against your chart of accounts, and you get financial reports such as profit and loss. Accounting is part of the Pro plan.
How much does AIM cost for a distributor?
AIM has a free-forever plan for stock, sales, purchases and invoices. Pro costs PKR 2,500 a month, or PKR 2,000 a month billed yearly, and adds FBR Digital Invoicing, accounting, payments, returns, multiple warehouses and team permissions.
We keep our stock and customers in Excel. Can we move to AIM?
Yes. You can import your customers, suppliers, items and opening stock from Excel instead of typing them again, then run purchases, stock and sales in AIM from day one.
Can I run more than one business in AIM?
Yes. You can manage several companies from one AIM login, each with its own warehouses, and switch between them in one click.
